The TS-270BK and TS-270BL pages identify a 700-watt Extra Wide Slot toaster with seven shade settings and Bagel, Defrost, and Cancel. “Extra wide” is still not a universal fit guarantee: compare any published slot measurement with the thickest bagel, waffle, or bread you normally toast.

Consumer Reports evaluated a blue TS-270BL sample. Its model page reports testing for color range, one-batch evenness, successive batches, toasting time, ease of use, and other defined criteria. The recorded sample had extra-wide slots and measured slot dimensions in the test record.
